Kiev – A Pit Stop In Northern Ukraine

I had a connection flight in Borispol/Kiev, Ukraine to Tel-Aviv, Israel. I thought, “This would be a great opportunity to try out some local Ukrainian beer...LOL. I could not read a thing on the label and I had to ask 3 people in order to find out where to get beer at the airport. When I found what looked like beer, I could not read a thing on the label. However, the cashier verified that it was local Ukrainian beer and was pretty good. My evaluation of the beverage puts it in the “like” category. I was pleasantly surprised by it. It had great body flavor but some distinct “hopiness” that I had never tasted before. In the end, I enjoyed a nice drink and waited for my airplane.
