Hello! Welcome to the travel blog of Jerry Wierwille. Some of you may know me and others might not, but I think you will quickly find out that I love to learn and I love to share. There is nothing I love more than God, the Lord Jesus, the Holy Scriptures, and the saints, and I hope to be able to impart some of my enthusiasm while traveling abroad.

The aim of this blog is to share with family, friends, acquaintances, and everyone else the learning, experiences, and fun of my backpacking trip around the Mediterranean this summer in 2014. The focus of my journey is to visit and study locations pertinent to the Bible (either directly mentioned or bearing some relevance). Areas of interest that I want to grow in on this adventure include: biblical languages, biblical interpretation, biblical archaeology, ancient history, Christian history, and well.....LIFE!

I hope you enjoy some of the snippets of information I post and the photos from the places I stop. I cannot promise that I will get every place I visit, but I will share as much as I can.......you might just have to wait for the rest until I publish, I guess...lol.

Thanks for everyone's prayers and support. I love you all and I will miss you while I travel the world. But, I will be back before you know it. ;)
